Helping Hungry homeless transform their life
A HOME FOR HOMELESS
NEW TESTAMENT MINISTRIES INC
The beginning started with giving away nearly everything they had. The items were donated to the Salvation Army. The Abraham's were
starting their ministry completely based on what God would do, not what they could afford. They were instructed to buy an RV. The first hurtle
was to get the money to buy it. Obedience required the Abraham's to take out a loan to buy it. The RV was set up in a very low-income area to help the
needs of the poor.
Many people needed deliverance from drug addiction. This also created a need for housing. Dais and Nancy and their boys along with many of the families they housed, all lived in a small musty church building without hot water or heating. The ministry grew.To support the ministry, Nancy, (an accountant by profession) continued to work. The ministry grew. It has been by the provision of God that this ministry has flourished.
New Testament Ministries was started in 2015 by Dais and Nancy Abraham. The two are India immigrants whose parents
were in ministry. Dais' father was a missionary and Nancy's father was a pastor. Nancy immigrated to the US as an infant whereas Dais was much older. Dais was a successful computer engineer. He lived in a beautiful home with his wife Nancy and their two young sons.
In 2014, Dais received the call of the Lord to give up all he had. The giving up of everything was not hard for Dais, but would Nancy be on
Board? After praying about his calling, he later learned Nancy had felt the calling too. In 2015 the two began the ministry.
People struggling with addiction issues are taking residence in the Secret Place (Abraham residence). Here we provide love and support through a Biblical based message of Christ's transforming power. We have evening prayer 5 days a week to instill the Word of God in their hearts and create a family atmosphere. This training is vital for those dedicated to home missions. There is a lost and dying world in one's backyard. NTM is training students for this very purpose.

At NTM Food Pantry we see the miracle of 3000 families a month receiving food. To facilitate this endeavor a store front location at 2938 South Combee Road, Lakeland, Florida is used. Food distribution is done on Wednesday 1:00PM - 3:00PM or until the food is fully distributed. The pantry contact number is 863-703-2570. A host of volunteers help break down the incoming food to family size portions, then the food is distributed to individual households.
We have implemented a new program to make ID cards and barcodes to speed up the process and serve families more effectively. Everyone that comes for food, this program helps, and us too.
Flavor Nation is our new endeavor to help those in need. In addition to being a means to feed the less fortunate through free food, we have a take-out restaurant and food wagon that generates income for the ministry.
